Smarta Bold clay

Mineral-based clay for decorative modelling

Smarta Bold Clay has a soft texture and is easy to shape by hand. It air-dries in approximately 24 to 48 hours, depending on the thickness of the piece. A minimum thickness of around 2 mm is recommended for good results.

Bold is suitable for decorative objects, figures, models, reliefs, wall decorations and school or hobby projects. The clay can be applied to surfaces such as wood, metal, glass and plastic.

Textures, moulds and finishing

Smarta Bold Clay can be used with silicone moulds, cutters, rollers and modelling tools. Textures from lace, fabric, stamps and other relief surfaces can also be transferred to the soft clay.

Once dry, the surface can be painted with acrylics and decorated using stencils, decoupage, metallic foil or varnish. Regular Smarta Clay is the more suitable choice for thin, flexible details, flowers and jewellery.
