Lightweight clay for fine and decorative work

Lightweight clay is soft, pliable and easy to model. It dries naturally in the air, so no oven is required. Its low weight makes it particularly suitable for flowers, miniatures, dolls, jewellery, decorations and larger pieces that need to remain light.

Differences between Hearty and Artista Soft

Hearty Soft has a fine texture, is elastic and can be rolled very thin. It remains relatively flexible after drying, helping delicate petals and fragile details resist breakage. Hearty White feels slightly firmer and sits between Hearty Soft and Artista Soft in terms of flexibility. The strongly pigmented Hearty colours can be mixed with white clay to create a wide range of shades.

Artista Soft is exceptionally soft and lightweight, but is less elastic during modelling than Hearty Soft. This provides a different working feel that can be useful for decorations, figures and three-dimensional projects.
