Silicone molds for Sculpey polymer clay

Sculpey silicone molds make it possible to create repeatable shapes and detailed polymer clay decorations. The range includes designs for jewellery, flowers, lace patterns, animals, mandalas, geometric shapes and whimsical decorations.

The molds are oven-safe and can be cured with compatible Sculpey polymer clay according to the product instructions. This allows the creation to remain in the mold during baking.

Using solid polymer clay in a mold

Condition the polymer clay until it becomes smooth and evenly workable. Press the clay carefully into the design, paying particular attention to small details and corners. Remove excess clay from the top to create a flat back.

Depending on the design, the clay can be removed before baking or cured inside the oven-safe mold. Always follow the instructions supplied with the mold and the chosen clay.

Using Liquid Sculpey in silicone molds

The molds can also be used with Liquid Sculpey. Fill the selected design evenly and check for trapped air bubbles before placing the mold in the oven. Translucent, metallic and coloured varieties provide different options for jewellery and decorations.

Allow the creation to cool completely after curing before carefully removing it from the flexible mold.

Caring for silicone molds

Clean the mold carefully after use and allow it to dry completely before storage. Do not use sharp metal objects to remove a shape, as they may damage the silicone surface. Store the mold flat and away from strong heat sources.
