Translucent effects with visual depth
Cernit Translucent becomes translucent after baking and is suitable for realistic fruit and food miniatures, jewellery, gemstone effects, imitation glass and decorative details. The translucent effect is most visible in thin layers.
Colours, glitter and Night Glow
The collection includes colourless and coloured translucent clays, glitter varieties and a luminous Night Glow version. Colourless Translucent 005 is available in 56 and 250 gram blocks and can be used on its own or mixed with other colours.
Mix with other Cernit clays
Combine Translucent with Cernit Number One for greater opacity, with Cernit Opaline for a softer semi-transparent effect or with Cernit Neon Light for vivid effect colours. Mixing ratios and the thickness of the design influence the final translucency.
Conditioning and baking
Bake Cernit Translucent for a maximum of 30 minutes at 110 to 130°C. The extensive range is suitable for retailers, workshops, jewellery makers, miniaturists and professional studios.
