Transparent colours and opaque effects
Cernit Alcohol Ink can be used to create gradients, transparent layers, marbled patterns and flowing effects on jewellery, miniatures and decorative objects. The regular colours remain transparent, while white, pearl, gold, copper and silver provide a more opaque effect. All shades can be mixed to create new colours and distinctive combinations.
The ink is particularly suitable for decorating Cernit polymer clay and can add depth to light-coloured and translucent polymer clay. It can also be applied to epoxy resin, paper, cardboard, glass, ceramic, metal and plastic. The precision nozzle makes it easy to dispense and position individual drops.
Thinner, cleaner and alcohol ink paper
Cernit Alcohol Ink Thinner lightens the colours and improves their flow, making it easier to create transitions and blended effects. The Cleaner is intended for cleaning tools and work surfaces. Clairefontaine Alcohol Ink paper provides a smooth surface on which the colours can move freely. Alcohol ink dries quickly in the air and produces a glossy appearance. Work in a well-ventilated area and keep the products away from heat, sparks and open flames.
